Further to the Neutral series, the next step was to partially expose the plastics and materials used for their composition. Thus, Half Half animals drop half of their camouflage: one side realistic and the other devoid of ink, in order to make the origin of the chosen raw material more easily apprehensible.
Through the rawness of the materials that make up the pieces, it is the shapes and contrasts that suggest the continuation of the image, represented in a more abstract way. The presence of plastics, metals and other raw materials endowed with textures and vivid colors gives us back compositions in which the spectator's brain has to construct and unveil the part of the image that is not obvious at first reading.
